My Teaching Beliefs

Belief 1: I believe that all students should learn in a caring learning environment.

 As a teacher, this means that my students feel comfortable enough to openly discuss topics without the fear of judgement of peers. This belief is important for student learning because students learn better when they feel comfortable in the learning environment.

Belief 2: I believe in differentiated learning. 

​

As a teacher, differentiated learning is essential for all students to be tended to. This belief is important for student learning because students do not all learn the same. When each students’ needs are met, the learning environment achieves success.

Belief 3: I believe that students should have a positive relationships with their teacher.

​

As a teacher, this belief means everything to me. I always want my students to have a positive relationship with me because that is when I can have the most impact as a teacher. Students will never listen to me if they hate me. A positive relationship with students is important for student learning because the students will trust me and my instruction more.
