Counting Book
1,2,3 To the Zoo
By: Eric Carle
1,2,3 To the Zoo is written by Eric Carle. This fiction story is a perfect way to teach counting from 1 to 10 for younger ages. The book uniquely only had numbers on each page. Each page represents a number and is labeled and in each illustration, the same number of animals is displayed. This helps younger readers follow along the pictures and count. The book has pictures of all different kinds of animals that can be found at a zoo. This also makes the book adaptable for the teachers to ask students different questions on each page about the animals and what they see.
